What to Expect at Your Visit

During your first visit Dr. Edwards will take ample time to obtain a thorough intake and learn about your health concerns.  By the end of this visit he will provide you an initial treatment plan developed to address your individual needs.  The first visit last approximately one hour.

Over time your plan may need to be refined and changed as your health improves, thus follow-up appointments are recommended.  Follow-ups last 30 minutes and usually occur every 4 weeks until your condition improves.   Frequency of visits depend on the patient’s individual needs and may change accordingly.  Ultimately, Dr. Edwards expects you to be healthy and independent of his care.

Patients are encouraged to bring laboratory reports and other doctor reports for the doctor to review.  Additionally, if you are taking any supplements or medications it is best to bring these along for Dr. Edwards to see.  We will mail you an intake form to fill out at your home when you call for an appointment or you can download one here.  The extensive intake form helps Dr. Edwards gather as much information as possible about you and may help you recall some health issues which may not relate to your chief complaints.
